In classic point-and-click style, you are transported to Loretta as a housewife in the 1940s.
She has committed a murder and is now followed by flashbacks and that's where the twist lies. With each flashback you have the choice to decide what exactly happened. This way you create the course of the murder that you are trying to cover up at the same time and get a very individual perspective on the events of that night. A curious detective is on your heels, trying to solve the puzzle.
The gameplay consists of numerous mini-games that divide the chapters, simple puzzles and word association games, but mainly it is about saying the right thing and trying to keep the lie structure together. The atmosphere in the game puts you in the tension of an Alfred Hitchcock film and puts you in the position of becoming an accomplice of the protagonist by slipping into her role.
Loretta will be released on Steam and GoG on February 16th, 2023.
