New Equipment Requirements and Gear-Up Tips
With the introduction of the Brelshaza Hard Mode in the April update, new equipment requirements are coming our way. To prepare yourself optimally for the upcoming challenges, you should increase your item level as follows:
- Item level 1540 for Gates 1 & 2
- Item level 1550 for Gates 3 & 4
- Item level 1560 for Gates 5 & 6
However, the new item level requirements are not the only change that comes with the April update. The Brelshaza Hard Mode comes with a variety of new challenges and gameplay mechanics!
The path to obtaining old equipment
Meet the requirements and become powerful!
Old equipment can be crafted from materials obtained in the hard mode of the Legion Raid Phantom Legion Commander Brelshaza. However, before you can start crafting, you must meet the following requirements:
- Reach an item level of 1540
- Complete the achievement 'Phantom Shard Remnants' Level 1, which is obtained by equipping a full set of 6 relic equipment pieces from the Phantom Legion Commander Raid (regardless of set bonus)
Once you have met these criteria, you can start crafting old equipment and further strengthen your character.
Equipment path guide for beginners and returnees
If you are new to Lost Ark or returning after a break, we have a quick guide for you on how to obtain and upgrade level 3 equipment sets:
- Legendary equipment - Obtained in the Argos Abyss Raid and Oreha's Well Abyssal Dungeons (hard mode)
- Lower level relic equipment - Obtained in the Valtan and Vykas Legion Raids. The corresponding hard modes offer more crafting materials.
- Upgrade the relic equipment set bonus - The Kakul-Saydon Legion Raid offers materials to upgrade the powerful relic equipment set bonuses.
- Upper level relic equipment - Obtained in the Brelshaza Legion Raid (normal mode).
- Old equipment - Obtained in the Brelshaza Legion Raid (hard mode). Requires an item level of 1540 to craft.
Ark Pass Season 3 offers exciting rewards
Ark Pass Season 3 brings new opportunities for you to earn great rewards in the game simply by playing! Complete missions to reach 30 Ark Pass levels and unlock additional prizes with each new level.
For those of you interested in additional rewards and cosmetic items, there are also two premium reward paths (Premium & Super Premium) available for Royal Crystals.
Progression events
Lost Ark also offers various progression events that can help speed up your journey through the game. These include the Punika Powerpass, the Hyper Express Plus Event, and the Story Express. These events will help you progress faster in the game and earn great rewards to bring your characters to the next level.
