New cards and exciting challenges
Attention, friends of Magic: The Gathering Arena! On July 18th, 50 new cards will be available for your favorite game. With the Historic Anthology 7 and Explorer Anthology 3, you'll get a breath of fresh air for your deck planning. And that's not all! For a limited time, Explorer Anthology 2 is making a comeback, offering you the chance to expand your Explorer and Historic card spectrum with cards like Eidolon of the Great Revel, Brave the Elements, and Satyr Wayfinder.
And for all you competition lovers out there, there are two Metagame Challenges to conquer. From July 21st to 24th, you can showcase your skills in the Historic Metagame Challenge, and from July 28th to 30th, the Explorer Metagame Challenge awaits you. Both events offer gold and pack prizes as rewards.
Changes in Rotation and Renewal
But that's not all! The rotation and renewal of Magic: The Gathering Arena for the year 2023 are just around the corner, bringing some changes with them.
Special Premier Draft
And as if that wasn't enough, there is currently a Special Premier Draft of Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty running until July 24, where you can collect cards and win prizes in the form of gems and packs.
Event Schedule
There is also an event schedule listing various events such as Midweek Magic, Quick Drafts, and others, taking place between July 18 and August 10.
Qualifier Play-In Events in August
Qualifier Play-In Events are planned for August, where you can compete for invitations to the Qualifier Weekend Events.
Ranking for July
Lastly, the ranked season for July will start on June 30 at 12:05 PM PT (which corresponds to our time zone UTC-07:00) and will end at the same time on July 31. Depending on your achieved rank, various rewards such as packs, gold, and card styles are up for grabs.
