Maman Brigitte - The Guardian of the Dead
Friends, it's that time again. SMITE has a new deity on the battlefield, and she is none other than Maman Brigitte, the Guardian of the Dead. This lady has some interesting abilities up her sleeve, which I would like to introduce to you:
Passive - Soul Spikes
Whenever an enemy takes damage from a basic attack or an ability, they are inflicted with Soul Spikes. Upon reaching 5 stacks, Maman Brigitte absorbs a piece of their soul, dealing damage based on her missing health and gaining a Soul Orb from enemy gods. Soul Orbs last for 30s.
Party Piece
Maman Brigitte drinks from her bottle and breathes fire. Enemies are set ablaze, taking damage every 0.5 seconds for 1.5 seconds if they remain in the area. This damage does not trigger item effects. Maman Brigitte is immune to knockback and channels the fire as long as she has rum, and can cancel at any time. When there is no more rum or upon reactivation, she smashes her bottle on the ground, dealing damage and stunning enemies. The cooldown of this ability is reduced based on the remaining rum when the strike occurs.
Madame Fangs
Maman Brigitte's tattoo snake, Madame Fangs, slithers off her arm and becomes a spectral snake that passes through enemies, damaging all hit enemies and leaving behind Madame's mark. Subsequent hits from Madame Fangs deal 15% of the original damage. Enemies with Madame's mark take additional damage when Maman Brigitte damages them. This bonus damage does not trigger item effects. Soul spikes and item effects do not trigger Madame's mark.
Festival of Spirits Event
Welcome to the Festival of Spirits! This event features a chest with 5 skins and a cosmetic bundle. Choose from the chest or purchase the skin directly from the shop. Unlocking all items from the Festival of Spirits event will unlock the unlimited Martichoras skin! Don't forget to visit the Festival of Spirits Flip Circle! Earn spirit flips through quests and then choose which skull stone you want to flip on the randomly generated board to unlock a surprising cosmetic item from the Festival of Spirits!
