Mass Effect Legendary Edition - Pinnacle Station DLC missing from Legendary Edition

Mass Effect fans are looking forward to May 2021: The remaster of the original Mass Effect trilogy is finally coming out! In addition to the three parts, almost all of the original DLCs are included. With one prominent exception: the Pinnacle Station DLC.

A remaster of the original Mass Effect trilogy with revised textures and 4K Ultra HD presentation is one of the big wishes of many Mass Effect fans. The Mass Effect Legendary Edition is supposed to fulfill this wish in 2021 for owners of a PS4, PS5, an Xbox One or Xbos Series X/S as well as PC players. Included are also more than 40 expansion content for Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3.

The unusual exception is the DLC Pinnacle Station. This has no content-related, but technical reasons. The DLC for the first Mass Effect revolved around a turian space station and virtual combat challenges that were connected with a quest series. However, the DLC had no significant impact on the main story. In fact, they tried to implement the DLC for the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, so Bioware's Project Director Mac Walters. But many of the original data could not be recovered easily. In fact, the time-consuming process would have consumed half a year and the work of almost the entire team. So they decided to release the DLC.

Although players have to do without the complete package of DLCs in the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, an elaborate remaster with new textures and 4K representation awaits. Undoubtedly a highlight for Mass Effect fans.
