Menace - The Dark Space Adventure
If you've always wished that the alien threats in XCOM were a bit darker, Menace might be the tactical RPG you've been looking for. This game comes from indie strategy publisher Hooded Horse and developer Overhype Studios, bringing the conflict with eerie extraterrestrials to outer space.
You and your troops are cut off from the core systems and must travel between planets to restore order in the vastness of space. Encounters take place on large 3D battlefields, where your infantry, tanks, and mechs encounter bizarre and unsettling alien forces.

In Menace, you will constantly be faced with new challenges. With the generated multi-mission operations, there is always something new to discover. You have access to a variety of vehicles and equipment to equip your troops.
Between Missions
Between excursions, you return to your mobile base to train and improve your units. This ensures that your experience never stagnates and there are always new opportunities to better equip your troops for the next encounter with the aliens.
