Microsoft Flight Simulator - Sim Update 12

Last week, Microsoft Flight Simulator provided numerous updates and news for the community. Here is a summary of the most important events:

Sim Update 12

On March 21st, Microsoft Flight Simulator released the latest Sim Update 12. This update brings numerous improvements and bug fixes that many fans have been waiting for. Changes have been made to turbulence, aircraft flight models and visuals, among other things. The complete changelog can be found in the official forum. These improvements should make the overall flight experience even more realistic and enjoyable.

Famous Flyers Series: Antonov An-2 and An-225

On March 21st, Microsoft Flight Simulator released the next aircraft in its Famous Flyers Series: the Antonov An-2. This versatile STOL biplane from 1947 has already impressed many players. What sets it apart is its ability to take off and land on very short runways.

And that's not all: Xbox players now also have access to the Antonov An-225, which was already released on PC three weeks ago. This aircraft is the largest in the world and a real eye-catcher in the air.

Developer Livestream and Flight Simulator Expo

On March 22nd, Microsoft Flight Simulator hosted a Developer Livestream. In this Livestream, the team presented upcoming content such as World Update XIII and the first "Expert Series" aircraft, the ATR 42-600/72-600 by developer Hans Hartmann. It was also announced that the team will be present at this year's FlightSimExpo in Houston. The Livestream can also be viewed on Twitch afterwards.

Discount in the Marketplace for Deluxe and Premium Deluxe Editions

Another important point that was addressed in the Livestream is the change in pricing in the Marketplace. Players who own the Deluxe or Premium Deluxe Edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator now receive a 33% discount on all first-party aircraft in the Marketplace. This is a contribution to the appreciation of fans who have chosen the higher-priced editions of the game.

Microsoft Flight Simulator has provided numerous updates in the last week. The improvements through Sim Update 12 and the new aircraft in the Famous Flyers Series provide more variety and a better flight experience. The upcoming content such as World Update XIII and the Expert Series aircraft also sound promising. We can be excited about the future of the flight simulator.
