Players can dig near temples in the desert to discover exotic wonders. Digging involves searching for suspicious sand blocks and brushing with a new tool. The sand blocks reveal random objects or clay shards that can be assembled into a complete clay pot.

There are various clay patterns that tell unique stories and can be used as decorative accents. Mojang plans to add more dig sites as it works on this feature.
