What to Expect in Minecraft 1.21?
With the release of Minecraft 1.21 in 2024, a whole range of exciting new features awaits us. In addition to the previously mentioned test chambers and Breeze mobs, which will be exclusively available in the Java Edition, there are also some smaller changes planned.
Test Chambers and Breeze Mobs
The test chambers are designed to provide you with challenging moments of combat and exploration. They are hidden deep beneath the surface of the Overworld and bring new decorative blocks, lighting blocks, and test spawners. The Breeze mob is a new enemy specifically for the test chambers, which will shake up your battles!
The Breeze mob is a cunning, hostile mob that can appear through the test spawner. They are very aggressive and use wind attacks to both deal damage and throw you several blocks away. So always be on the lookout for them!
How to Find the Test Chambers?
The test chambers are available in the mid-game and can be discovered in the Overworld. Once you have found them, you can use them to take on combat challenges - be sure to check the deepslate layer underground, where they occur relatively frequently.
