Exciting news for all Mortal Kombat fans: NetherRealm Studios has announced an Online Stress Test for Mortal Kombat 1. However, this is not a beta, but rather an opportunity to test the online services in preparation for the launch of Mortal Kombat 1 on September 19. Availability and Game Modes of the Online Stress Test
The Online Stress Test will only be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and will support 1-on-1 online multiplayer as well as a limited single-player Klassic Towers mode against AI opponents. However, the test will not support cross-platform play.
No connection to pre-order bonuses or editions
It is important to note that the Online Stress Test is completely separate from any pre-order bonuses and has no connection to any content or access included in the Mortal Kombat 1 Premium or Kollector's Editions. However, pre-ordering these editions will grant early access to the game starting on September 14th (before the official release on September 19th).
