However, he is certain that the event will take place before this year's Summer Game Fest.
Shpeshal Nick, co-founder of XboxEra and co-host of the XboxEra Podcast, revealed in a recent episode that he had heard of an announcement of Mortal Kombat 12 at the next PlayStation Showcase. His co-host Rand al Thor agreed and mentioned that he believed Sony would have the marketing rights for the game.
