MultiVersus has postponed the release date for the new fighter Gizmo. The little guy from the Gremlins franchise was originally supposed to make his way into MultiVersus on September 6, 2022.
Although rumors about Gizmo have been circulating for some time, he was only recently officially announced. After Stripe was announced as another fighter some time ago, hardly anyone expected Gizmo to appear so soon. The new release date for Gizmo is September 8.
Season 1 of MultiVersus
So far, only one new character has appeared in Season 1 of MultiVersus, namely Morty from Rick and Morty. The developer Player First Games has already announced in a statement that three more characters will make it into the game in Season 1. In addition to the aforementioned Stripe, Black Adam from the DC Comics and Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty are also planned to be part of the game.
In addition to new characters, the developer is also planning to implement new game modes. However, there is no exact release date for this. In addition to an Arcade mode, a Ranked mode is also planned to appear in Season 1 of MultiVersus. The official end of Season 1 is November 15, 2022.
