Attention adventurers! The rabbit plague is back, and this time they are more dangerous than ever. From April 12th to 25th, you should be vigilant and on the lookout for event-specific loot. Compared to last year, rewards have been improved thanks to player feedback: rare items are now guaranteed when you defeat a certain number of corrupted rabbits. Possible rewards include diamond plaster, defiled rabbit paws (increase luck), a defiled rabbit chest, and a new corrupted rabbit mask.
Event Rewards in Detail
Help fight the plague and secure daily and special event rewards. The rewards reset daily at 5 a.m. local time. For example, you can receive six diamond plaster at 4:58 a.m. and earn another one at 5:01 a.m.
Each corrupted rabbit can drop the following rewards:
- Diamond plaster - (66% drop chance, daily limit: 6)
- Defiled rabbit's paw (80% drop chance, consumable: increases luck, daily limit: 5)
- Corrupted rabbit mask (0.50% drop chance, headgear, guaranteed after defeating 200 corrupted rabbits, limit: 1 per event)
- Defiled rabbit's storage chest (0.25% drop chance, housing item, guaranteed after defeating 400 corrupted rabbits, limit: 1 per event)
The Rabbit's Revenge Event Background Story
The mysterious phenomenon behind these explosive long-eared creatures immediately caught the attention of the Syndicate in New World. The background story revolves around a master and her apprentice who are investigating the phenomenon and trying to figure out how to capture such a rabbit alive. The master gives the apprentice the task of capturing such a rabbit unharmed and considers it her final test. She warns the apprentice not to get corrupted in the process.
