Spooky Times in Aeternum - the New World Update 3.0.1
Hello, adventurers! Grab your torch and put on your bravest smile, because Aeternum is getting spookier than ever this fall! With the new Update 3.0.1 of New World, we're celebrating the haunting season in Nightveil Hallow with unique costumes and tempting candy rewards in the "Trick-or-Treat" event. But that's not all this update has to offer!
What the Update 3.0.1 brings
Starting from October 17th at 11:00 AM PT (6:00 AM UTC), you can transform into some of your favorite characters like Captain Thorpe and banish the shadowy demon Baalphazu, Marquis of Terror, back into the darkness. Additionally, the Umbral Rites Store will be unlocked, and we'll be showcasing a community mount showcase and much more. But let's take a closer look at what this update has in store for you.
Nightveil Hallow is back
From October 18th to November 14th, Nightveil Hallow returns, inviting you to face your fears. The event shop offers new and returning event-specific items for you to discover.
Umbral Rite Store Release
The spirits of Aeternum roam more freely than ever before. Check out skins like the Séance Mask Bundle, the Fatebound Ossuary Weapon Bundle, the Midnight Portents Armor Bundle, and the Ritual Hat. And yes, there's even a T-Rex Walk Emote!
Release Notes
- World Experience: Numerous bugs have been fixed and improvements made, including issues with quest progression and audio problems.
- Combat: An issue has been resolved that caused players to take damage and prevented repairs behind fort and outpost gates.
- Artifacts: Multiple artifact issues have been fixed and adjustments made.
- Flail: Several bugs have been fixed and adjustments made to the flail class.
- Mounts: Various issues with mounts have been resolved and adjustments made based on player feedback.
- Economy, Progression & Equipment: Numerous bugs have been fixed and adjustments made to the game's economy system, progression mechanics, and equipment.
- UI/UX/Social: Various issues with the game's user interface and social features have been fixed.
- Seasons: Multiple issues related to seasonal activities have been fixed.
