Deep Rock Galactic - What to expect in the November Maintenance Update

Changes and Improvements in Deep Rock Galactic

"Deep Rock Galactic", one of the best co-op games on Steam with a positive rating of 97%, is releasing its extensive November maintenance update. The game proudly stands alongside other great co-op games like Left 4 Dead 2, Terraria, Elden Ring, Valheim, Stardew Valley, and more. With nearly 200,000 user reviews, DRG has definitely earned its place.

The November maintenance update of Deep Rock Galactic - also known as DRG Patch S04.10 - brings a wealth of changes as well as some excellent quality-of-life features to one of the best co-op games on PC. Developer Ghost Ship Games explains the significant changes in a handy video, focusing on mitigating some of the most frustrating aspects you might encounter while exploring the deadly cave networks of Deep Rock Galactic.

New features and enemy adjustments

First on the list is Rockpox. The Lithophage corruption can be quite nasty, and Ghost Ship recognizes that players may have had enough of dealing with its harmful effects. Therefore, the ability to opt out of seasonal content has now been introduced after reaching level 100 in the Performance Pass.

Some of the most frustrating enemies have also been adjusted. The stingtail's grip attack has been significantly toned down, especially after it catches one of your team members, meaning you will be targeted less frequently. Additionally, electrification will now also damage enemies that were previously completely immune to it.

New reward system: "Weapon Maintenance"

There is also a new seasonal reward system called "Weapon Maintenance" that allows you to earn new color schemes for your weapons by collecting XP with each specific weapon. Curious about how it works? Then grab your Deep Rock Galactic Key and find out!
