Omega Strikers - The First Major Update

Welcome to the first major update of Omega Strikers

Hey Strikers! It's been around three weeks since Omega Strikers hit the market and there are already fantastic news for you. In the first major update, you can expect TWO new characters, a fresh map, a reworked Asher, additional equipment, and much more! Trust me, the new characters are really fun. But enough of the anticipation - let's get into the details.

System changes - what to expect!

Get ready for exciting changes in Omega Strikers. Here's an overview of the most important updates:

New Characters: Vyce and Octavia

Vyce is an explosive long-range striker who deals significant damage with her electrified guitar and teleports across the field in a flash. Her abilities range from thunderbolts that fall from the sky to massive shockwaves that hurl enemies away. Octavia, on the other hand, is a fast but fragile striker who controls the core and dodges enemy attacks with her psychically controlled speakers. Her playstyle is based on the Flow State, which gives her an increasing speed boost.

Asher Rework

As Asher's abilities were too dominant to advance the core, we removed her passive shield barrier and only activate it during her PRIMARY ability. These changes should improve the counter-attack game against enemy Ashers.

New Map: Demon Dais

Demon Dais is the first new map in Omega Strikers and features a unique barrier setup and a spectacular music stage. Break through the barriers while activating the speakers on the sides of the map, which emit sound waves that push away strikers and the core.

Power Orbs Changes

The healing from Power Orbs has been adjusted and now varies between 7.5% and 30% based on the character's current stagger.

Console Updates

  • Nintendo Switch: Now playable at 60 FPS!
  • Xbox: No longer requires Xbox Live Gold to play

Cosmetics and Equipment

In addition to cute and cool skins created in the first Creator VS, there are also great new items for the Ahten City Music Festival. Additionally, new equipment has been added: the Siphoning Wand, which deals additional damage and heals the user.

Bug Fixes

Several bugs have been fixed, including massive framerate drops for iOS users when using Tempo Swing and connection issues during the loading screen.

Curious? Then grab your Omega Strikers Key and experience all these great new features for yourself! If you don't have a key yet, you can purchase one on our Steam Key page. Have fun playing!
