Attention! Today is a big day! The developers have just released One Military Camp Version 1.0. This marks the end of the Early Access phase and the beginning of an exciting new journey! But before we dive into the field, we want to thank you. Thank you for your trust in the Abylight Barcelona team and thank you for your valuable feedback and great suggestions!
What's new in 1.0?
The update brings a lot of new features. From new biomes to Twitch integration and improvements in accessibility - there's a lot to discover! Let's take a closer look at the highlights.
New Biomes
Two new biomes are now available to build your military camp in sandbox mode: Sandy Desert and Jungle.
Social Integration
For all you Twitch streamers out there, the game now offers Twitch integration options in the settings menu. Activate it with your Twitch account and start real-time polls with your chat - let your viewers decide whether your camp will experience positive or negative events.
In addition, the developers have added four leaderboards for sandbox players. Here you can see the following world rankings:
- Games won in Battle mode
- Defeated troops in Battle mode
- Games won in Reconquest mode
- Missions completed in Reconquest mode
Accessibility and Leveling
There have also been improvements in terms of accessibility. This new version includes filters to enhance visual contrast for different types of color blindness, as well as filters to disable sounds that may be unpleasant for people with misophonia.
In addition, there has been fine-tuning of difficulty, economy, and other game parameters to make the campaign challenging yet accessible to a wide range of players.
Visual Effects and Sim Fest Participation
Visual effects have also been refined - look forward to new particles and VFX for buildings and character animations! Additionally, the team is excited to announce that they will be participating in Sim Fest from July 20th to 24th!
