Attention friends of Only Up! – the game has received an exciting update that brings some improvements to the game balance. This makes your gaming experience even better and more challenging, but also fairer. Let's take a closer look at the changes:
Improved Fall Control and Character Abilities
The update brings a 30% improvement in fall control for the player. This means that it is now more likely that you won't fall as far and will have more control over your character. Additionally, the character's ability to cling to objects has been increased by 20%. The boy can now hold onto objects in a larger radius, resulting in fewer false falls. These adjustments overall provide a fairer and more enjoyable gaming experience.
Camera mode change: First-person perspective and camera centering
Another highlight of the update is the change in camera mode. You can now switch to first-person perspective by holding down the C key. This can be very helpful in certain situations and give you a better overview. In addition, by pressing the 1 key, you can center the camera so that your character runs straight ahead. Pressing the 2 key will swing the camera back to the side.
Level adjustments for smoother gameplay
Due to player requests, the level with the pipes has been adjusted to make it easier to navigate. You no longer have to jump twice on the pipe to climb up - a small but nice adjustment for smoother gameplay.
Performance improvements and bug fixes
The update also brings some performance improvements and fixes minor bugs in the game. Among other things, various malfunctioning elevators (drones) have been corrected.
