Overwatch 2 is currently being bombarded with negative reviews. The reason for this are the negative experiences on the release of the free-to-play game. Overwatch 2 was released on October 02, 2022 and so far has had many problems.
The Reasons
Players complain, among other things, about extremely long waiting times when searching for matches. Players who have made it into a match often get server crashes and thus can't really play. Blizzard has at least confirmed the server crashes and is on the case.
Bad Userscore
On Metacritic the players are bombarded with negative reviews. In principle, Metacritic has given the game a rating of 81. That's actually quite solid. However, the user ratings are now at 1.3.
