The battlefields of Panzer Corps have once again undergone some changes! With the introduction of Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations - 1946, there is a lot to discover. Let's take a look at the changelog together:
New Campaign and Units
First and foremost, the game has received a major update with the addition of the Axis Operations 1946 campaign. But that's not all, over 50 new late-war units have been added to the game. The battlefield is definitely not going to be boring!
Further Changes and Improvements
But it's not just the new units and campaigns that make this update special. Some existing features of the game have also been improved. Target predictions are now more accurate, and handling units from disabled mods is now more stable. No more worries about game crashes due to "invalid" units!
The "Heroic showdown" option has also undergone a revision. Now there is a slider to set the number of heroes added to enemy units from 1 to 5. And don't worry, mines will no longer be assigned heroes.
For fans of half-track vehicles, there is also good news: they now consume only 1.5 movement points on snowy terrain, instead of 2. Perfect for winter battles!
Fixes and Fine-tuning
As with every update, some bugs have been fixed and adjustments have been made. From the corrected suppression tooltip to the resolution of formatting issues in all localizations, and even the correction of the editor, there are many improvements that make the gaming experience even better.
And of course, we must not forget to mention that throwing the transport now correctly returns the slots used by the transport, and overrun now only works for attacks with zero range. These may be minor details, but they can contribute to a smoother gameplay experience.
