New Keywords and Adjustments

Crucible introduces some new keywords into the game that have a direct impact on your item filter. Two examples of these are HasImplicitMod and HasCruciblePassiveTree. Both come with the values True and False, so you can search for items with specific properties. But don't worry if all of this sounds confusing: the integrated item filter of Path of Exile will be updated along with Crucible, so you can jump right in.

  • Active Skill Gems: Vaal Firestorm, Vaal Arctic Armour, Vaal Ice Shot, Vaal Absolution, Vaal Domination, Vaal Lightning Arrow, Vaal Animate Weapon, Vaal Reap, Vaal Rejuvenation Totem, Snipe
  • Support Skill Gems: Momentum Support, Manaforged Arrows Support, Prismatic Burst Support
  • Divination Cards: Brother's Gift, Soul Quenched, Poisoned Faith, A Chilling Wind, Matryoshka

Removed Items

Some items have been removed from the game, including Onslaught Support and various Charged, Enriched, and Pure Breachstones. But don't worry, there are plenty of new things to discover!

Other Changes in the Game

Aside from new and removed items, there are other changes waiting for you. For example, the item class of Map Fragment has been changed to Breachstone. Additionally, there are many renamings of Divination Cards, Wands, and Abyss Jewel Mod names. Pantheon Souls have also been reworked and have received some new names.

Map Tiers

Crucible also brings changes to the map tiers, from Tier 1 to Tier 16. Most maps have been redistributed to new tiers, so you will experience a completely new gameplay when playing the maps. Here is a brief overview of the map tiers:
