Hello, Pathfinders!
Since the release of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous two years ago, the developers have identified the least popular class and the one that you, our beloved players, have asked them to improve. The developers have listened and are excited to announce that the Assassin class has been redesigned and enhanced in Update 2.2. It will be available on November 21st, along with the DLC The Lord of Nothing!
The developers understand that the main problem with the old Assassin was using poisons in a world where most enemies are immune to poisons. That's why they added new mythic abilities that allow you to ignore this immunity.
Death Mark instead of Death Attack
Instead of Death Attack, the developers have added a new ability called Death Mark. This is a standard action that requires you to make a knowledge check appropriate to the creature type. If the check is successful, you mark a target. You can only mark one victim at a time. At 7th level, the Assassin can use Death Mark as a swift action.
Kill Target - The Ultimate Attack
In addition, the developers have added a new mechanism: Kill Target. The Assassin can take a full-round action to instantly kill a target marked with Death Mark.
Use Poison and More!
Starting at 2nd level, the Assassin gains the ability to use poison, and the developers have also improved this progression.
In addition, the redesigned Assassin gains the ability Cold-Blooded at 2nd level, which grants a +2 bonus on saving throws against mind-affecting, compulsive, frightening, and emotional effects.
Alter Ego and Public Execution
A new ability at 3rd level is Alter Ego. The Assassin can create copies of themselves to distract the enemy.
At 4th level, the Assassin now has the ability Public Execution.
The Master Assassin
Finally, at 10th level, the Assassin becomes a Master Assassin.
We hope that players will now achieve mastery in killing demons and diversify their crusading style! Good luck in the Worldwound! And don't forget to update your Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Key with us. You can also learn more about the latest updates and changes on our website. Happy gaming!
