Attention, friends of heist action!
We have exciting news about PAYDAY 3! The development team has announced a technical closed beta for the game, which will run from August 2nd to August 7th. This means that selected players will have the opportunity to play the game in advance on Steam and Xbox Series S|X.
How can I participate in the beta?
Participating in this beta is not a given - it is a technical test aimed at testing the servers and the stability of the gaming experience under real conditions. Registration is done through the beta programs of Steam and Xbox:
- Steam: Go to the PAYDAY 3 store page and click on "Request Access".
- Xbox: Open the Xbox Insider Hub, navigate to Previews, and select PAYDAY 3.
Selection Process and Further Information on the Closed Beta
Once you have applied for access to the beta, your application will be reviewed by the developers. Several times a day, individuals are selected to participate and notified via email. So don't forget to keep an eye on your inbox!
Unfortunately, there is no way to increase your chances of being selected - the selection process is random. And even if you have already pre-ordered PAYDAY 3 (whether it's the Silver, Gold, or Collector's Edition), it does not automatically entitle you to participate in the closed beta.
Can I publish content from the beta?
Good news for all you content creators out there: Yes, you are allowed to create and publish content based on your experience in the closed beta! Whether it's Let's Plays, tutorials, or opinion pieces - share your impressions with the community!
Reporting Bugs and Getting Help
If you encounter any issues during the closed beta or have a problem with the game, you can always reach out to support. Their website has a dedicated section for feedback or bug reports.
Limitations in the Beta Version
However, please note that this version only includes one heist and four heisters, with a level cap of Infamy Level 22 during the BETA phase.
Progress Carryover?
One important piece of information: Progress made in the PAYDAY 3 beta will not carry over to the full release version of the game. So take this opportunity to get a first impression of the new PAYDAY 3!
