To address the issue, Starbreeze had to first ensure that the testing environment was functioning properly. It was a frustrating process for all involved, but ultimately necessary to avoid future problems. Now, the team is ready to hit the ground running and get PAYDAY 3 back on track.
Free Content and Exciting Changes
In their video update, Starbreeze also provides a glimpse of the first content for PAYDAY 3. Two popular heists from PAYDAY 2 - Cook Off and Murky Station - are making a comeback. Additionally, the return of Locke and a brand new skill line focused on carrying money bags are in store. One highlight: soon, you'll be able to carry two bags at once!
Challenge System: Always Focused on the Next Goal
In addition, Starbreeze is planning a revamp of the challenge system. This will help you progress to your next Infamy level, even if you're not actively completing challenges. The exact timing of these changes and new content is still unclear. However, we can expect a release in November 2023.
