After 7 years of development and more than 2 years in Early Access, the development team of Phantom Brigade has released the final version of their mech strategy game. The game is now available on Steam and the Epic Games Store and has already caused a lot of excitement in the community.
Improved Mech and Livery Customization
One of the major changes in version 1.0 is the improved Mech and Livery Customization. Players can now view more stats and the new comparison feature allows for quick switching between equipped and new gear. The Livery Customization has also been revamped and now allows for a more compact display of individual Liveries as well as marking favorites with a right-click.
New Pilot Features and Improved Combat System
The Pilot screen has also received some new features, such as the ability to visually customize one's own character as well as animation options that change depending on the pilot's personality. The combat mechanics have also been improved, with new UI elements that better communicate optimal range and blocked shots as well as a circle that indicates the optimal shooting distance. The health system has also been improved, allowing for parts to be switched to full health without repair.
New Content and Improvements
Phantom Brigade v1.0 also includes numerous new content, such as two consecutive Capital Battle scenarios, new events such as "Runaway" and "Blackbirds" as well as additional upgrades for many base improvements. The Salvage view has also received a new UI and visual elements.
