Have you heard the news? The Halloween event 2023 in Phasmophobia is here! But that's not all. The developers have some exciting new features in store for us alongside the spooky event. So grab your UV flashlight and let's get started!
The Halloween Event 2023
Just like every year, we can look forward to a hauntingly delightful event. You can even earn a special ID card badge and trophy! Just check the game for instructions on how to obtain them. The event will last for about two weeks - plenty of time to showcase your ghost hunting skills.
New Layout for Maple Lodge Campsite
But that's not all. The Maple Lodge Campsite has received a complete layout update. With a new reception building, two separate camping areas, and more hiding spots, ghost hunting here becomes a whole new experience. And the best part: the performance has been significantly improved! No more lagging when you're chasing after the ghosts.
Improvements and Bug Fixes
But there's also news beyond the campsite. To improve performance in the truck, the CCTV monitor will now only turn on when you're nearby. And some icons have been replaced in the main menu and contract selection screens.
The T2 cross should now consistently provide both "interaction" and "burned cross" photos. The haunted mirror will no longer be detected on the parabolic microphone or sound sensors if it's not being held or used.
More Performance Improvements
There have been many performance improvements, especially in multiplayer mode and in the truck. When placing equipment on the wall in certain areas of Sunny Meadows, the equipment will no longer teleport to the truck. Bone photos now work more reliably.
