Insider info points to Sony focus on Playstation 6
Anyone expecting a PS5 Pro should be very strong with the current rumors. According to these, there will be no PS5 Pro, as the company Sony should concentrate fully on the Playstation 6. The reason for this, the whistleblower writes, lies in the ongoing sales demand for the Playstation 5, triggered by ongoing production difficulties, which delay delivery, making a hardware upgrade of this rather unlikely. From a corporate tactical point of view, it makes sense to focus on the new console rather than dealing with the revision of the middle generation.
Nevertheless, the company wants to bring further updates for the Playstation 5 until the latest console is released. These will only contain minor optimizations, possibly also to reduce production costs and (hopefully) to grant some price reductions sooner or later.
Finally, it should be emphasized again that these are only rumors. Whether we can actually expect no PS5 Pro can not be said so far.
