Get ready for a time-travel adventure with Portal 2
Imagine being able to travel back in time and experience the backstory of your favorite game. That's exactly what you'll soon be able to do with "Portal 2"! A group of dedicated fans has developed a prequel called "Portal: Revolution", which will be released as a free game on Steam in early 2024.
A revolutionary addition to Portal 2
"Portal: Revolution" is a mod for "Portal 2" that you can play for free if you own "Portal 2" on Steam. This fan-made project, approved by Valve, takes you back to the events before "Portal 2", exploring the ruins of the dead and decaying Aperture Science facility.
New characters and improved gameplay mechanics
The story introduces new characters, and your main companion is a personality sphere named Stirling. You both have the common goal of restoring the Aperture Station to its former glory. Thanks to a modified version of the Portal 2 Community Edition engine, "Portal: Revolution" offers many new mechanics and improvements that wouldn't be possible in Portal 2.
No tricky movements required
You don't have to worry about complicated puzzles! The developers assure that every player can solve the puzzles without having to master advanced, tricky movements.
40 new puzzles and fully voiced campaign
Despite the small team size, "Portal: Revolution" has a lot to offer. The fully voiced campaign includes 40 new puzzles and is said to be already "99% complete" according to the developers.
Free to play starting January 5, 2024
"Portal: Revolution" will be released on Steam on Friday, January 5, 2024. It is free to play, but you need to own a copy of Portal 2 to be able to play it. If you don't have a copy yet, you can easily secure a Steam Key from us!
