Project Cars 3 - Huge vehicle selection meets realistic racing conditions

Round three: The third part of the successful Project Cars series is still in the box and waiting to finally hit the gas on the racetrack from August 28, 2020. The variable racing game of the well-known development studio Bandai Namco wants to offer PC, PlayStation and Xbox players exciting races again. How they want to achieve this goal and which innovations Project Cars 3 brings to the predecessor, you will learn in this post.

In Project Cars you take on the role of a racing driver and try to fight your way to the top of the podium, either online against other players or offline in single player mode. But especially close overtakes, unexpected incidents and sudden changes in the weather make this fight particularly exciting.

Video games of the racing genre are often said to only be fun for Formula 1 and other car fans. But Project Cars 3 is particularly suitable for players who are new to this genre. For example, the "First Time User Experience" system was developed to offer newcomers the easiest possible start. Even the game mechanics were changed in favor of the players, making the car's controls more controlled and simpler. But the long-standing community is not disappointed with Project Cars 3 either, as the old, familiar roots of the game series are still valued. So Bandai Namco tries to create a well-balanced mix between the old community and the new players, all of whom will have a great time with Project Cars 3.

New features and highlights of the racing game

For one, the Project Cars series has always been known for its huge selection of cars and tracks. The third part of the video game series is also expected to meet these expectations: The development studio based in Tokyo speaks of an incredible 211 licensed and detailed vehicles as well as over 140 global tracks. Competitors such as Grand Turismo and Forza are also amazed at this incredible selection.

In addition to the huge selection of vehicles from manufacturers such as Acura, Corvette and Mercedes, the choice of game modes is also convincing. The career mode shines with the improved artificial intelligence of the computer-controlled drivers as well as the new, now classic system. It is no longer possible to jump into any racing class as in the predecessors, but instead you have to fight your way up from the bottom to the top realistically, just as it is in the real racing world. The refined multiplayer mode, which is particularly popular, has also been optimized to ensure maximum gaming fun.

In addition, the graphics, which were criticized a little in previous parts, now shine in new splendor and thus offer a lifelike racing experience. This is supported by an equally improved game mechanics, which will delight both beginners and established hobby racers.

Project Cars 3 therefore promises a lot: realistic racing conditions, optimized graphics, refined artificial intelligence as well as an even greater selection of vehicles and tracks than ever before. From August 28th you can experience all this and, with a little practice, feel like a real racing driver.

In addition to Project Cars 3, developer Bandai Namco is also known for numerous other games that are definitely worth playing. The world-famous Pac-Man series is one development of the Japanese company. But the long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077, which will be released in November 2020, is also surrounded by a huge hype and is expected to be a complete success.
