Put on your level 3 helmets and grab your favorite weapon, because we have some news for you! PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS has undergone some changes and updates that we want to dive into today.
Latest Updates and Changes
First and foremost, let's start with the most important news: The live maintenance schedule has changed. PC players can expect map changes every Wednesday at 2 AM UTC, while console players can expect the same every Thursday at 7 AM UTC.
Yes, you heard it right, there's a new weapon in the game - the Dragunov. It belongs to the Designated Marksman Rifles (DMR) and uses 7.62mm ammunition. With an effective range of 500m and a muzzle velocity of 830m/s, it's definitely no joke. But that's not all! The fire rate of the AUG has been adjusted. It's now only 720 instead of the previous 750.
Tactical Equipment
A small setback for fans of tactical equipment - it has been temporarily disabled. But don't worry, it will surely be back soon!
Aston Martin
All fans of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster can breathe a sigh of relief. The issue where the vehicle would tip or feel awkward in certain areas has been fixed.
World: Miramar
There have also been some adjustments on Miramar. Some highland areas have been modified to prevent players from gaining an unfair advantage from extremely elevated positions.
Modes
There are changes to the modes! The TPP mode has been added while the FPP mode has been removed. Additionally, in the Bluebomb Rush mode, you can now change the shop button assignment.
Progressive Weapon Skin System
Chroma Skins are now available! With them, you can modify the color and effects of your progressive weapon skins, allowing you to express your personal style.
Bug Fixes
Of course, there have also been some bug fixes. General gameplay issues have been resolved, as well as more specific issues with the Miramar map.
