"Pummel Party" is based on classic board games. Each player gets a game piece and can move their rounds on the various different cards. If all players have had their turn in a round, a mini-game is started at random.
The mini-games always have different rules that you and your opponents have to adjust to in a very short time. For some games you play alone against the other players. For other games, you play in pairs against each other and in free-for-all games, every pummel fights for himself.
The crazy little games are mixed. For example, you have to roll around as a snowball and push your opponents away or you and your friends get big hammers to process each other. The player who has the most points at the end collects keys to open treasure chests. The player who discovers the most treasures wins the party.
The new features with Update 1.8.1
The 1.8.1 patch also brings new items that players can discover. If you find the laser cannon, you can disintegrate another player directly into their atoms and take them out of the game for a round. If you find a ritual staff instead, you can unleash a small demon that wanders across the game board and harms other game figures. Or the players find an arcade machine with which they can force another player into a retro games challenge. Whoever has the upper hand in this mini game wins one of the coveted trophies and is one step closer to victory.
The colorful collection of mini games has been expanded by a baseball game in which you have to hit as many objects as possible with your bat. In addition, a mini Tetris has lined up in the game selection, in which the player wins, who can stack the most boxes.
For friends of cosmetics, new hats and new capes have been added for the game figures. With the patch it is also possible to save your own settings such as the design of your own figures, own rules and unlocked cards and items in the Steamcloud.
The colorful party mess
„Pummel Party“ is a party game for up to eight players. Players can compete against each other over a local network or go online to the party battle. If you don't have any friends at hand, you can also compete against other online opponents in „Pummel Party“. Depending on how many rounds are played, a party takes between 30 minutes and one hour, in which you play many crazy mini games, collect items and fight to the blood for the coveted trophies to become the champion of the „Pummel Party“.
