Y8S1.2 Patch Size and Platforms

Mousetrap (Mouse & Keyboard on Console)
In this patch, an important change has been made for console players. Players who use mouse and keyboard on consoles will now receive a penalty in the form of delays in their inputs. The delay increases with continued use over multiple matches and is intended to improve fairness by making it more difficult to gain an unfair advantage in aiming and shooting. If you switch back to using a controller, the delay will gradually decrease back to normal. The development team will closely monitor this feature.
Operator Balancing
Some operators have been adjusted in the Y8S1.2 patch:
- Capitão: The duration of the micro smoke grenades has been increased from 9 to 11 seconds.
- Kapkan: The 1.5x sight has been removed from the 9x19VSN.
- Oryx: The 1.5x sight has been removed from the T-5.
- Wamai: The 1.5x sight has been added to the MP5K.
- Tachanka: The Shumikha Launcher has received more ammunition (20 instead of 14), but a smaller magazine size (5 instead of 7). Additionally, the 1.5x and 2.0x sights have been added to the 9x19VSN.
Weapon Balancing
The extended barrel now has a reduced damage bonus of 12% instead of the previous 15%.
Adjustments and Improvements
Brava's Kludge drone now changes the team of Aruni's Surya Gate when successfully converted by the Kludge drone. It then becomes an attacker device that opens for attackers and damages defenders.
Bug Fixes
In the Y8S1.2 patch, numerous bugs related to gameplay, level design, operators, and user experience have been fixed. Some of the most important bug fixes include the missing sound effect (SFX) when activating Hibana's X-Kairos and incorrect SFX for fences on the ground on the Theme Park map.
