Upgrading the Lab Access Card

To find the wrench in Chapter 13, you must first upgrade your lab access card. This means overcoming enemy bioweapons, tracking down the right tools, and solving tricky puzzles. The wrench is the key to the Level 3 Keycard Upgrade, but beware: it's hidden in an unexpected place!

Where is the wrench?

An important clue to finding the wrench is located at the end of the incubation lab. There, you'll discover a terminal that allows the Level 3 Upgrade. A note reveals: one of the Regeneradores has swallowed the wrench - time for some stomach upset!

  • Kill the Regeneradores that swallowed the wrench
  • Use the Biosensor Scope Upgrade on one of Leon's rifles
  • Identify and destroy the Plagas parasites in the Regeneradores

How do you use the wrench?

Once you have the wrench, return to the terminal and unlock the Level 3 Keycard. Attention: enemies are approaching! Be well prepared before performing the upgrade.
