There have been rumors for a while that Returnal is already available under the codename "Oregon" in the Steam database. This has been officially confirmed with a recent update to the database. In this update, Oregon was renamed to Returnal.
Returnal was released exclusively for the PlayStation 5 on April 30, 2021. Since then, the roguelite third-person shooter has received good reviews from players and the press. In Returnal, you take on the role of Selene, who is stranded on a foreign planet with her spaceship. But the planet is anything but hospitable and so you have to fight for your survival from the very first second. Due to the roguelite elements, you have to start over from scratch after each death.
Returnal can be played both alone and in online co-op and offers a good alternative to other co-op games.
When will Returnal be released on Steam?
There is still no release date for Returnal on Steam. We estimate that the game will be released on Steam at the beginning of 2023.
