Welcome to the world of REVEIL
Imagine embarking on a psychedelic journey into the past, in search of your missing family. That's exactly what awaits you in REVEIL, a story-driven first-person thriller reminiscent of the infamous horror game PT. With confusing maps and endless corridors, REVEIL relies on a mentally challenging plot, where you must solve various puzzles to decipher clues about protagonist Walter Thompson's past and save his missing daughter and wife.
The new trailer, released at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase, gives us a glimpse into eerie rooms, mysterious forests, and an especially inhospitable circus. The distorted reality Walter navigates will confuse and frighten players until the very end - exactly what you'd expect from a PT-like horror game.
What can we expect from REVEIL?
REVEIL will consist of five playable acts that take place in different locations and are designed to mess with the player's mind. There are subtle references to themes of memory and mystery, similar to the game What Remains of Edith Finch. The first-person narrative will also include puzzles and brain teasers, so this game is definitely not a walk in the park.
