Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break - Release date is July 21, 2020

What Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break is all about

Just like in the two predecessors, you also play a gigantic boulder in Rock of Ages 3, which makes its way through history. This starts on a small, Greek island, where you are imprisoned by a large Cyclops - that's right: the beginning of the game is in the tradition of the well-known story of Odysseus' wanderings. In further levels, the game changes to the mode of tower-defense games. But there are even more different variants in the game. New is also the time-lapse mode, obstacle courses and - as the name already announces - of course also the build mode. Here you can design the most fascinating tracks yourself and challenge your friends with them.

Current information on Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break

So far, Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break can only be played thanks to a closed test phase in a preview version. This includes the first few levels and gives an idea of what the complete game has to offer. The release of the game is planned for July 21, 2020. Accordingly, we cannot yet say anything specific about the gameplay and, above all, the long-term motivation of the Make & Break multiplayer mode.

The release will include most of the common systems. The game is supposed to be released for PC, PS4, Xbox One and the Nintento Switch. Only Linux users have to resort to small tricks with translation databases. The control with keyboard and mouse is just as easy and intuitive as with a controller.

The target audience of Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break

Rock of Ages remains a game that has chosen casual gamers as its target audience. Even though both the campaign and the tree mode focus on more intense engagement with the game, the individual levels can always be completed in a few minutes in between. Thanks to the different influences in the game, Rock of Ages is also excellent for fans of tower defense, obstacle courses and racing games.

Other Games by the Developer

Modus Games' biggest titles to date are the first two Rock of Ages games, but they've also published the "Trine" series of platformers, which currently spans four releases. Lesser-known but no less rewarding titles from the company include: Cris Tales, Remothered, Degrees of Seperation, Lost Words, and Override.
