The survival game Rust has received some new features and improvements with the Industrial Update. Here are the most important new features at a glance:
Drone
A new, player-controlled flying machine that can be crafted at the computer station. It can be placed almost anywhere on the map, but has a limited range and must therefore be controlled near the computer station.
C4 with RF Remote
Explosives can now be detonated remotely by sending a signal with the RF remote. The frequency can be determined by the player themselves. C4, which is placed outside the building area of a player, expires after 24 hours.
CCTV Camera System
Players can now build a surveillance system with cameras that can pan, tilt, and zoom. They can be linked to the computer station to transmit live images.
Auto Turrets
These can now be controlled remotely via a computer station to fend off enemies from afar.
Rust+: Players
Can now access cameras from servers connected to the computer station on their smartphones with Rust+.
Industrial Manufacturer
The industrial manufacturer can now manage four building plans at the same time, simplifying the crafting of items.
Additionally, some improvements have been made:
- Bug fixes, performance improvements, and user experience improvements.
- New filter options to facilitate the finding of items.
- Pipes can now be laid more accurately and with a smaller minimum distance between connections. A new color (green) is available to better differentiate the connections.
- Improved display of transfers between different components and a new user interface to facilitate understanding.
The Industrial Update is a big step forward for Rust players, who can look forward to more possibilities and improved user experience. Rust fans should definitely try out the update!
