Rust - Water upgrade and improved boat physics coming

The open-world survival game Rust from Facepunch Studios is set to receive a range of updates and improvements in the near future. According to a video from YouTube channel SHADOWFRAX, the game will receive a “big visual upgrade” for the water, with changes to shorelines and stronger storms the further a player ventures into the ocean. Improved boat physics and the ability to attach adapters to structures to “daisy chain” containers will also be added.

The game, which was first released in early access in December 2013, is known for its significant and frequent updates that go far beyond a few tweaks. Rust is considered one of the most brutal survival games, with many players fighting for their survival in the game’s harsh environment, which is full of dangers such as wild animals and challenging weather conditions. Despite the difficulty, it is likely the brutal game mechanics that keep bringing the fans back.
