Microsoft starts with a real cracker for the Xbox Series X

It's time. Immediately after the announcement of the new Xbox Series X, Microsoft also announces the first game cracker. Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is due to be released at the end of 2020, just like the console. The sequel to Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is advertised as the flagship of the new Xbox generation, and, according to the already released short trailer, quite rightly so.

Hardly any details known yet

Not much is known about the game's content and story. It is only clear that, as in Hellblade II, the warrior Senua, including her psychoses, will be at the center of the dark story. So it can be expected that the successor of Senua's Sacrifice will build on the strengths of its predecessor. We are looking forward to a deep story, believable characters and deep insights into their mental world.

The higher budget, in comparison to the development of Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, additionally promises more complex fights and a larger game world.

Ninja Theory

The action-adventure treat is being developed by Ninja Theory, formerly known as Just Add Monsters. Since the video game development company, which is responsible for parts of the Devil-May-Cry series, was acquired by Microsoft in 2018, it is expected that the game will be released as a console exclusive for the Xbox.

Conclusion
If the finished game lives up to even a fraction of what the first trailer promises, then the console community can look forward to an explosive start to the next-gen consoles at the end of 2020. Because one thing is clear: the competition is not sleeping and can and will intensify the fight for supremacy in the industry soon.
