A successful start to Early Access
Hello detectives! The game Shadows of Doubt has had a successful start to Early Access and the reactions to it have been overwhelming. Developer Cole is visibly pleased with how the game is being received. Of course, there are still some issues that need to be addressed, such as with controllers, save usage, performance, and Twitch integration. But don't worry: the last two patches have already helped to provide a smoother gaming experience.
A brief break for the lead developer
After a long period of uninterrupted work on the game, Cole has decided to take a few weeks off. During his absence, co-developer Josh will continue to work on Shadows of Doubt, along with Monomoon and Stark, who are responsible for audio and writing. Another update should be available shortly after Cole's return at the end of the month.
Modding possibilities in Shadows of Doubt
There are already some activities in the community regarding modding for Shadows of Doubt. Although the development team cannot officially support this at the moment (as the game is in early access and many internal things can change), they are excited to see what they can enable during their early access journey. To submit ideas, they have even created a short form.
What to expect during early access
After Cole's return, we can look forward to the first content update with the theme "Cheats & Liars". So, it remains exciting in the world of pixel detectives!
