Developer studio Tanjo GameWorks by Shinji Mikami is currently working on an unknown remake. It seems that Capcom and Platinum Games are involved in the development. However, it is not known which game it is exactly.
Shinji Mikami had previously worked as game director for games like Resident Evil 4, Dino Crisis and Evil Within. Among the fans, a remake of Dino: Crisis or God Hands is currently in the lead.
In earlier Twitter posts from November 1, Mikami said that he was working on a remake or a sequel to God Hand. The hashtag "GameAwards" was also found in this post. A short time later, Mikami deleted the post again, so it remains to be seen whether there will be new information at the Game Awards on December 8, 2022.
God Hand from 2006
God Hand is a game by Clover Studio. This was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2006 and was the last game of the developer studio before it was dissolved in 2007. It is interesting that many of the former developers of Clover Studio are now working at Platinum Games.
