Sons of the Forst - What is known
Soon it will finally be time and the successor of The Forest will be released on Steam. If you, as a fervent fan, can no longer wait, you will get all the information here about an Early Access and everything else that is known so far.
Officially, Sons of the Forest is scheduled to be released on February 23rd, 2023, continuing the series after The Forest. Fans are increasingly asking for an early access, especially since the predecessor The Forest was available early. According to current knowledge, however, there is no early access planned for Sons of the Forest and we all have to be patient and hope that the release will not be delayed again. Speculations about this are based on the still missing price on Steam. Endnight Games Ltd could just be making it exciting.
Sons of the Forest differs from its predecessor in terms of storyline, graphics and parts of the gameplay. Already the title suggests that the future protagonist, in whose role you will slip, is the adult Timmy. You go to a remote island in search of a missing billionaire and quickly realize that this island is the spawn of hell. Numerous mutants will meet you. This time you are not alone and have Kelvin with you, a soldier who survived the mysterious helicopter crash just like you. More KIs are available to you. Sons of the Forest will be possible with up to 7 players in online co-op, thus increasing the number of players compared to the predecessor. Building has also been revised and gives us more freedom in designing our camp.
Even though we have to wait until the planned date, we are very excited about the final result and can hardly wait to play.
