In Sons of the Forest there is another useful NPC that can help you in your fight against the cannibals: Virginia. But how do you get her on your side?
Step by Step: How to Recruit Virginia
First, you must approach Virginia slowly and without weapons. If you startle her, she will sporadically retreat and you will have to repeat the process of building trust. If you manage to interact with Virginia, you can give her weapons which she will automatically use in battle against the cannibals. However, it is not possible to give specific commands.
Once Virginia is on your side, you have an additional help in the fight against the cannibals and thus a great relief, since Kelvin can die in the game. Virginia appears early in the game and you will see her nearby when you find Team B.
If you fail to draw Virginia to your side, just keep working on gaining her trust. If you prefer to play alone, you don't have to recruit Virginia.
Multiplayer Mode: Virginia and Kelvin Fight Side by Side
In multiplayer mode, up to seven players can play together and have both Virginia and Kelvin on their side, making them an unbeatable force against the mutants.
