Imagine being an underpaid astronaut, facing the challenges of space. Your mission? Collecting trash! Doesn't sound like a glamorous career, but in Space Trash Scavenger, it becomes your exciting everyday life. In the style of a third-person open-world survival craft-em-up, you build your own orbital factory from the collected scrap and embark on interstellar adventures.
Your mobile base in space
The goal of the game is to expand your mobile base, which you use to go on loot hunts and make it travel-worthy for interstellar excursions. You jump between partially procedurally generated and partially handcrafted space systems, selling your products on the galactic stock market. Sounds mind-blowing, right?
Automate Your Space Junk
But don't worry, you don't have to constantly do it yourself. There are automation elements in the game that allow you to build your space rig in a way that it processes and rebuilds junk all by itself. How far you advance this automation is up to you.
Explore the Unknown
In addition to collecting junk, Space Trash Scavenger also focuses on exploration and adventure. You'll discover abandoned mining and farming stations and encounter a mysterious enemy called "The Entity". Throughout your journey, you must always keep an eye on your fuel management – because without fuel, nothing happens in space!

Space Trash Scavenger was developed by the two-person studio SquarePlay Games. It is their second game after Overcrowd: A Commute Em Up, a management game about running a busy subway station.
