In the latest episode of the Journey to 4.0 series, Cloud Imperium Games, the developer of Star Citizen, has released a new video. The video focuses on the concepts for building interior spaces. The current alpha version of the game already has interior spaces for specific buildings.
Populating Interiors
The development team is already working on populating numerous city areas. It is possible that the feature will be introduced for Alpha 4.0, which promises the implementation of the second star system.
Crowdfunding Success
Star Citizen's crowdfunding campaign has already received over $549 million from supporters. The number of registered users has surpassed the 4.4 million mark, but not all of them are paying customers. According to creative director Chris Roberts, 1.7 million players are paying customers.
Best Year for Star Citizen
2022 was the best year for Star Citizen in terms of crowdfunding with $113 million, an increase of 31% over 2021.
