Respawn has delayed the release date of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
The Final Touch
The reason given is the fine-tuning the game still needs. The developers of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor want to use the delay to give the game the final touch. On Twitter they revealed that this will be used to fix the last bugs and errors to deliver the game that fans deserve. Therefore, they have decided to set the release date to April 28th.
The same day that Dead Island 2 is supposed to be released. Star Wars fans therefore have to wait an extra month and a half to play the next chapter of Cal Kestis' story. The game was originally supposed to be released on March 17th.
In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Cal is now a Jedi, which gives him new abilities and weapons. In addition, new features in the familiar Star Wars world are said to provide surprises and invite exploration.
