The year 2023 promises us, in addition to many other games, the highly anticipated Starfield. We haven't heard anything about the sci-fi role-playing game for a long time, now new details have come to light.
In an interview with Youtuber Lex Fridman, game director Todd Howard delivered new information about the development and gameplay. In the 20 minutes that were all about Starfield, it became clear that there should be no survival mode at the time of release, but it was categorically ruled out for the future.
There should be over 1,000 planets in Starfield that you can land on and explore. These were created using procedural generation. But the developers came up with a system that made the planets as realistic as possible - they combined large landscape pieces and adjusted them to each other, which allowed a large number of planets to be created very quickly, but each one also created the desire to explore it in detail.
We will keep you up to date on Starfield with further information.
