Galactic Paragons expands Stellaris with visionary features
Welcome to a new era in Stellaris with the Galactic Paragons expansion! This adds numerous new features to the game, such as the Council mechanism, dynamic leaders, galactic heroes, and much more. Overview of Galactic Paragons features
The expansion offers many exciting new features:
- Unique Council Roles: Specialized roles and benefits expand the new council mechanism in Stellaris. Find dozens of unique council roles based on your civics and government types and unlock additional positions as your empire evolves.
- New Dynamic Leaders: Recruit, enhance, and guide the leaders of your empire through the ages! Shape them by selecting their traits, determining their veteran class, and leading them towards their destiny - until they retire or fall.
- Meet Galactic Heroes: Win famous Paragons for your council. These unique leaders with their own art, events, and stories can join your empire and bring their own benefits to your government. Or discover four legendary Paragons with complex event chains and unique mechanics!

- A new "Under One Rule" origin that tells the story of your empire's founder
- Eight new civics that focus on leadership
- 12 new veteran classes

Update 3.8 "Gemini" brings additional features and improvements
Along with Galactic Paragons, update 3.8 "Gemini" is released, which includes many new features, quality improvements (including a sector editor!), story events, bug fixes, and more! Some of the key changes in the "Gemini" update are:
- Cooperative Multiplayer (Beta): Multiple players can now play the same empire in cooperative mode in Stellaris.
- Empire Council: Basic Stellaris now includes a ruling council where up to three leaders can help you govern your empire.
- Ruler Creator: Version 3.8 introduced a ruler creator that allows you to select the appearance and starting traits of your ruler.
- Renowned & Legendary Leaders: Paragon leaders are not just for owners of Galactic Paragons! Existing content has also been updated.
- Ground Combat: Overhaul of ground combat and bombardment.
- Sector Editor: The sector editor is back! Now you can edit sectors in the planet and sector screens.
- Capital Designations: Four new capital designations for non-gestalt empires.
- Fleet & Ship Designer: Improvements to usability and updates to the fleet and ship designer.
- Science Ship Automation: New modules added for automating science ships.
- (Re)bindable Hotkeys: Ability to rearrange the list of options in the left-side menu and thus change the hotkeys for those menus.
- Notification Toaster: New "toast" notifications for low-priority information and customization options for all notifications in the game.
