Welcome to the Stellaris Mod Jam 2024!
Hello Stellaris community! Have you heard the news? Registrations for #MODJAM2024 are now open! And our friends from Republic of Gamers are joining us again, offering some cool prizes!
What is a Mod Jam?
So, you're wondering what a Mod Jam is? It's simple: Modders have four weeks to create something. The developers don't tell them what to create until the work period begins, and modders are not allowed to use any content they have previously published. At the end of the work period, they package everything together and release it.
Are you interested in testing the Mod Jam mod as we approach its release? Then join us on the Stellaris Official Discord!
And are there prizes?
Absolutely! After the Mod Jam, the community will vote for their favorite project. At the end of the voting period, the top 10 modders, as chosen by the community, will receive prizes from the sponsors and merchandise from the PDS Green Coffers!
This year, the developers have once again partnered with Republic of Gamers to offer great prizes to the winning modders. From laptops to headsets to mice, there's something for everyone. And for places 4 to 10, there's even a Stellaris-branded leather wallet and keychain.
And what about the theme?
Good question! The theme for the Mod Jam will be revealed on Tuesday, December 12th. So keep an eye out during the holiday season, as the Mod Jam will take over the weekly developer diaries starting on December 21st, and we'll use them to keep you updated on what the modders are up to.
