A glimpse into the beta tests
During a recently conducted closed beta round, game director Brett Crawford expressed his enthusiasm for the rapid development and adaptability of the game's meta. For him, it's a sign that Stormgate is on the right track.
More than just a strategy game
But Stormgate takes it a step further. One special feature are the so-called camps, which are scattered all over the map. Unlike other RTS games, you can't simply conquer these camps by reaching them - no, here you have to fight against monsters! Crawford explains that they are currently experimenting with different rewards - there might even be something like "Merc-Camps".
A tribute to the giants of the genre
Stormgate proudly displays its influences. It doesn't shy away from comparisons with RTS giants like StarCraft or Warcraft - quite the opposite! Crawford sees his game as a tribute to these classics while also creating its own universe that is just as diverse and exciting as the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Unfortunately, there is no release date yet for Stormgate. But you can already add it to your wishlist on Steam Keys and sign up for future playtests on the official website.
